Who is Jelon?

Growing up around barbershops thanks to his uncle and father Jelon developed an early interest in cutting hair He started experimenting with his own haircuts during high school and continued refining his skills throughout college often helping family and friends After a few mishaps with professional barbers he decided to take matters into his own hands mastering the art of self haircuts and line ups Encouraged by his community s positive feedback and his family s background in barbering Jelon seriously considered pursuing formal training However it wasn t until COVID 19 disrupted his plans that he took the leap and enrolled in Master Academy of Barbering in Knoxville Graduating as a licensed barber was a milestone that Jelon describes as one of the best decisions he s made Outside of barbering Jelon has a gift for working with special needs children showcasing his compassionate side and diverse interests His journey from self taught enthusiast to professional barber exemplifies his dedication to mastering his craft and making a positive impact in both his personal and professional life
